Ask Mortgage Mom offers anyone interested in owning a home the opportunity to learn important information about the home buying and mortgage process. Through my series of free videos, I explain what you really need to know without overwhelming you with things you might not necessarily need to know.
Since 1991, I've worked with thousands of individuals and families to ensure that the route from getting pre-approved to finding the perfect home, to closing and moving, is as smooth as possible. Being educated is the first best step.
I was born and raised in Southern Minnesota, and later, attended St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul, where I earned my bachelor’s degree. At the age of 28, I bought my first home. I was super excited as most people are but I was a bit unsure of the whole process. However, I was super lucky because my Mom’s best friend “Roz” was selling real estate at that time and she represented me. She held my hand throughout the process and always looked out for my best interests. I had a lot of questions and she had a lot of answers. You might not believe this but Roz is also a retired nun.
Many homebuyers may not have the personal representation of their mother’s best friend as I did, however, learning about the home buying process can certainly make their path to homeownership much easier. I launched Ask Mortgage Mom because of my passion for education and to guide home buyers just like you through the process of buying a home. As always feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
